We developed CMC Markets workplace strategy and with the transaction team took a long list of seven buildings and shortlisted to 4 Broadgate, Crown Place, 133 Houndsditch and a refurbishment of Preston Street.

 

We consequently designed and supervised the fit out for CMC Markets. The exercise required developing an workplace strategy for 350 people with expansion to 400 followed by an occupational brief carried out during the building selection process and lease negotiation. Vision and objectives were for an, innovative, experienced, accessible and trusted organisation represented through design by prestige, confidence and dedication.

 

Key requirements were an onsite thin client data centre, 20% agile desking, a dream/contemplation/thinking centre, grand central business centre and a software development centre as well as 100 person trading floor, meeting suite and Data Wall. The selected building was 133 Houndsditch.
